ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Will Paull, Di Pizio and Kasalovic join the squad after the end of the ALM season?
Paull should but probably won’t as seen as a first teamer. Would get good development as the young guys need a better influence and he needs games

Di Pizio shouldn’t and is he even staying at CCM? But definitely a first teamer who shouldn’t be going back

Kasalovic just seems a mystery. Never makes match day squads but seems the academy want to go young so unlikely

This squad is all quite young yeah?
Was never convinced by that decision. The academy is our key production line, throwing them to the sharks (or the wolves actually) isn't going to support the development pathway
Yeah basically playing to 20’s squads from my understanding.

I think it does improve them as need to learn physicality and your time to react is improved by the best players anyway and that’s what we are looking for.

I would prefer a few 21 22 year olds to
Steer the best young ones around but there must be a reason for it

Counting on the the NST to decimate the rest of NPL1 next year and the young boys will have a year of experience?

Average age of our NPL squad is about 18yrs. A huge task to compete week in week out. I agree that keeping a bit of experience in the squad would probably help development overall.
