ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

My bad Mick, I thought it was the Council CEO stepping down.
I remember Darren Sprod from his playing days with Central Coast.
Decent player and decent guy .
I did 4 years as Chairman of Macarthur so I know what you mean there mate!
I`m still burnt out by it & that was nearly 20 years ago ...

I suspect the stadium management rights are the line in the sand for Charlesworth.
If a satisfactory deal does not eventuate the for sale sign will go up.
I am not very confident of a positive outcome.
Management rights out to tender with the successful bet being decided by the council.
Competing bid coming from council staff.
Who do you think will win?

It is beyond belief that this can occur, particularly given the state of the council! If the council staff are successful it will be beyond a disgrace and must be challenged in every possible way!

Is Lawrie connected to the insider bid given his relationships with the people involved? I havent heard anything and am genuinely curious given that he needs a new gig

Seriously considering running
Mick ,if you are serious mate (and I believe you are) then sit down and have a talk to the family first.
It`s huge commitment and a thankless job.
The more you do, the more you`ll be expected to do & the more criticism you`ll get.
If you can survive that, then the rewards can be immense.
Good luck, you know you have the support of everyone here...
