ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

That was hands down one of the best away games I have ever been to since the day the club started and the atmosphere in the away bays put me in mind of games in our heyday.

The boys were immense tonight, in the face of a dirty Jets side with their season on the line, so this was a massive result. But for five minutes of madness immediately after the restart, that could have been another away game masterclass a la Sunday but it only ended up adding to the excitement in the end.

Even when the Jest ‘scored’ their equaliser, I had a gut feeling we would go on and win even if it hadn’t been rubbed out by VAR (much to any CCM fan’s surprise I suspect). That must have rubbed salt into the Jest’s open wound, which only added to the enjoyment and with the cherry on top being the marching of Penha.

I hope there is some video of Matty giving him a serve, as that would have been worth the entrance money alone. ?

it really is a wonderful time to be a Mariners fan.

Correct, if we could have consistency like that every week it would be nice. I feel Ams wasn’t appreciative of all the back chat he was getting from the scum on correct decisions. Jurman’s challenge was very bad defending and I think if the young Scum pusher wasn’t the one who headed the ball he would have got away with it. Looked bad as he pushed Rowles then had an uncontested header. Rowles was lucky I feel and milked it well.
i thought he milked it and when i saw the replay i was sure of it .

He f**ks up alot Middy TBH. But he is an enigma.
He does .... but having a person who can play back to goal and hold a ball up front has a similar effect on those around him .... than an ordinary keeper compared to an excellent keeper who communicates has on the backs...

Yeah he definitely would have done more for his case had he put away another 1 or 2 very good chances. But I will say I think he will bring our attack together if he gets time in the national team. As a poacher Jmac is more clinical but Cummings will be able to get himself into the game more against tough sides and bring others in.

Brilliant result, not only breaking into the top 6 but ending the scummers season on their own dung heap.
The Cumdog celebrating his first goal of the game in front of the Squadron, was just a thing of beauty. :vhappy:

Plus the second pisstake. And who was right there next to him copying his celebration, one Dan Hall.

The guy is pure enthusiasm and team. You can see how much he loves being a professional footballer.
