Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. You could say the same thing about Davidson - we’ve had plenty of left back issues but instead of one of the best performing left backs, especially going forward, Arnold went with King.

TBH Davidson had a lot to prove. He was shocking in a back four (defensively) at the NT level. Played predominantly as a LM in a 3-4-3 at Perth and really had to prove himself as a traditional LB in a back four. The fact that he has now should put him in the mix - but I would not have picked him earlier.
