ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Interesting stats for that game and yes he played well but i was more commenting on his total time here.

Not sure if it’s the touch you mentioned or if it was the Sydney game. When playing out from the Bay 16 end he has a heavy touch and looses possession and fouls the player to stop and attack on out goal and gets thr yellow card. Actually didn’t mean to foul him but managed to

Then the Tulio Cummings goal
He actually hits tulio with a good ball but comes from another heavy touch that got the defender to commit thinking he had a chance, then dances around him and sets up the goal.

Certainly been better last couple of games but if you watch all his games short passes are not a strength IMO. Could just be him adapting to the pace of the league and maybe playing with Hall makes him most comfortable as well. Let’s hope he continues with more great games and stats like those ones.
I think it may be time to leave this discussion and agree we are blessed for good centre backs for a change.

Passing is defs something he should do less of. Unless its for assists

He is a hard coconut (no disrespect intended)...thats nothing. The balls now are soft. We used to head the hard leather balls that would semi freeze in winter in the UK. Do you think Tom Aldred from the Roar or our own Andy Bernal would blink twice. TBH if a synthetic ball can concuss you then you should be playing for Adelaide. I did once knock out a keeper with a cracking shot from 5 yards after it came back off the dual AFL/Football goals they had at Chatswood High School. He came round pretty quickly and i'm not sure why his teamates were angry at me....like i said.....if you had proper goals he wouldn't be on the ground.

I have never seen this much flair and talent in so many players in one of our teams, maybe we'd have one or 2 incredible playmakers at the one time in the past, but honestly our depth is crazy atm.

Cummings
Garang
Tulio
Nkololo
And Nisbet

can all create from nothing

This is before Moresche even comes back.

honestly, in the past I would have been happy with just 2 of these players.
I've been throwing some shade at Vukovic after a few poor performances, but I think he also did really well this game.

The clean sheet was a team effort, but some times you need the team to help dig you out of a rut, hope gives him confidence to get a bit of consistency, he's better then the performances he's given recently

He was far more aggressive in the box this week, looked much sharper to me at the ground.

Thought Vuka had minimal work to do this week but the little he had to do he handled very well.

As Huddo said, hopefully it's a confidence builder for him as he does seem to be that sort of keeper, as illustrated by his extremely poor Victory stint.
