ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Massive game here. We are down to bare bones. Cumdog still doesn't seem 100%
Monty in the stands
A point here would be massive
Massive game, I'm expecting minimum 1 pen to be given to Wanderers, gotta get a Sydney team in that stadium for the final and the WSW fans do bring a good atmosphere. It's getting towards the pointy end now so the officials cheating will intensify. :tinfoilhat:

If we can pull off a win here by getting 3 early goals that can't possibly be chalked off it will be huge for our season. All the Evans shite was brought back by the game on the weekend, let's wait and see who they assign. It'll probably be Abraham, the one that fkd us vs Sydney and we have a big goal difference deficit with, since WSW are closing in our GD. https://www.ultimatealeague.com/referee/?referee_id=58

True but we need the three points and need to be playing for them. We cant continue to give away two points so often and hope that other results will keep us high on the table. A win to the vagrants and they leapfrog us dont they?
Can Monty give guidance to the bench from the stands [earpiece mike like the ref and fourth officials have]?

Yes, Monty can relay information from the stands to the bench as disclosed by Macca in the full time show as its now legal apparently

He could communicate but I'm led to believe Sergio has a great football brain so could be a valuable opportunity here

I closely watched Farrell last game and until the send off he was constantly looking for guidance.... he is very raw at CB, huge call for the other spot... Hall or Windust.... Hall left his player unmarked and when for a ball already covered and IMO was caught ball watching .... it cost us two points....

McGarry has little first team experience, and while Storm is in career best form he is not a rock in defence....

I see a massive game for Danny V coming up...he will have arguably the most inexperienced and young backline in our history in front of him ....

They also have some key players out and will be hurting after the thrashing they copped from WSW...

Huh? We're playing WSW.

I've been mulling over the fact our captain is a keeper and wondering if this has affected our most recent results. This is his chance to show his leadership. Rise and be counted.

Boy... Wanderers are in form. Rudan hates us. Olli hates us. No love lost between our benches. Second place on the line. Westy home crowd... Goes without saying they will be massively up for this and so we have to be.

We can definitely do it. And imo we have to if we're aspiring to win finals. Performing in big games is a big challenge to young sides, but for us it's where it's at. This will be a fantastic test.

Have we been held scoreless this season? Even at our poorest we seem to be able to score.

The difference will be our defence, which has taken a fair bit of battering. Hopefully it creates a backs to the wall mentality for this game we can leverage off.
