ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Agreed. Sydney have too many big game, finals experienced players.

Finals football is a different beast.
I feel like this is 1 of the things where our youth policy prevents trophy/title success
In those big big games, experience is so important

I still love our youth policy though, id rather watch the kids go out in Semis each year than become a retirement home

Whilst a young team this isn’t the first finals series for most of them given it’s our third year in a row. Bit more experience then you may realise. A win in the finals would be awesome then the belief will build.

Dingo, Tulio, Storm and Vuka need to step up for finals, particularly Dingo can lead us to victory here.

Tonight I'd like to see Theohaurus score, it's due and will power him up for finals.

Obviously going 2nd would be the best outcome but that's also in WSWs hands.

Of SFC & Nix I'd rather play the nix. They're still decent but inconsistent and I think SFC has a higher ceiling if they go on a run. From a neutral point of view a sydney derby elimination game next weekend would be must watch football and if we're going to see any result engineering from the APL it'll be making that happen.
Would they not rather an all sydney final?

Does anyone fully understand the afc cup and champ league qualification?
I know first place gets ACL, 2nd gets AFC cup. Is that it?
Yes. First (City) Champs league. Aus cup winner gets AFC Cup and 2nd in the league decided tonight for the 2nd AFC cup place.

It is as big a game as the qualification final v Gold Coast when Kwasie got us to the Champs league.
