ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No one lied. Kaltak had plenty of interest from overseas and believed he would get an offer. Never ended up getting an offer. Still a bit of a dick move though imo, even if Perth have paid massive overs for him.
Got to disagree there.

Club has been pushing the wish to go overseas through Jacko and in the club release yesterday.

Then is signed with Perth 1 day later.

He either didn’t tell us or we didn’t want to say it was to another A League club.

There would have been some sort of notice of we are announcing our new club tomorrow type thing.

I am not saying his intention wasn’t to go overseas but at some point that changed. Probably more likely in the last 6 months. Then either us or him didn’t want to to acknowledge that.

No comments at all from Brian thanking the club or fans in the article or since that i am aware of.

I have no problem with him leaving and good luck to him but something smells here.

I think the big worry is why he thinks he will do better in Perth than staying here.
Did they offer more or is our club now in the basket case category and we have just not heard?

Quite a bit more $$ is my understanding.

Must have happened quite quickly as he was telling people as recently as a couple of weeks ago that he had no offers but was still confident of an OS move.

Why would the club lie?

More likely he thought he could get something overseas, believing his own hype, but nobody was interested

To be fair it did say he expressed interest in going overseas. I saying that, I would like to think that when nothing happened he asked the Mariners for a contract and was refused, before he negotiated with Perth...

Good luck to him.If Glory are offering him good coin he would be mad not to take it.Anyway we always knew he was leaving so need to put in good preseason work with Sains,Paull and Tapp and any Academy boys who have potential as CBs
