My opinion it was the #1 reason we played so poor last season. No presence or pressure in the middle. As Rado famously said, Nizzy and Maxy would bully in that area all game. Not convinced Alfie is the answer either...

I think Alfie plays a similar role to Steele, both deep creative players that retain position and spray balls around. Not very aggressive or good at muscling people off the ball.

Redders is a perfect fit for us as a keeper. 2 years service and then Dylan should have developed enough to take over.

Redders is a safeish pair of hands as a DPC backup and to push DPC knowing he is not a sure thing for the first xi. Also if DPC gets sold OS he would slot right in
