ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No. Bigger than that.

I was thinking Juan Mata who has expressed an interest in investing in an Australian football club, but probably will be Canberra.
I can see him and a certain mountain biking entrepreneurial genius becoming besties…… until they’re not :vhappy:

Wouldn't mind this young bloke - but his father is acting as agent. Could be a problem if we were to try.
Interesting if his father is actually acting as his agent without being licensed by FIFA and registered with football Australia. Doubly so if he’s also doing that whilst employed as a coach - maaaaassive no-nos which would see him hauled in front of the fifa disciplinary tribunal.

Perhaps 2+2 = 5 ?

"Mata's minutes have been limited with Wanderers but the veteran is not averse to continuing his spell in Australia off the field. He's already a part-owner of San Diego FC, who are currently playing their inaugural season in Major League Soccer, and it's believed he's discussed the possibility of being part of a consortium that could put together an A-League side in Australia's capital city Canberra."

And it seems QPR are more looking for a new owner for themselves rather than buying another club
