ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

CCF CUP

Like the new format for the cup. Was sugested years ago but unfortunately was not adopted at that stage.
Great for Ist grade sides as they are guaranteed 3 preseason games.
Just wondering about who will play whom in the Quarter finals. Appreciate that the winners of the 5 groups will go through to the quarters together with the next best placed 3 teams, but wondering who will pay whom?
I and many I have spoken to would like to know. For example will the winner of Group 1, for instance, play the winner of group 2 or say the best placed of the 'next best 3'?
Should be sorted out now and publicised now so no aspertions be cast later when draw comes out.
In the past everybody knew full draw from before cup started. Why not now?
Alao nice to know when you will be playing and possibly whom.

I was interested is there a formula for deciding the "best next 3" especially as one of the five divisions has five teams and the rest have 4. Men's Pool B has an asterisk next to the title, with no explanation. What might that mean? Other than that pool has an extra team.

Men's Pool A
Club Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Points
Umina 2 2 0 0 5 1 4 6
Kariong 2 1 0 1 3 3 0 3
Kanwal 2 1 0 1 1 3 -2 3
Woy Woy 2 0 0 2 1 4 -3 0

Men's Pool B*
Club Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Points
East Gosford 3 3 0 0 16 0 16 9
Kincumber 3 2 0 1 9 3 6 6
Terrigal 3 11 1 13 4 9 4
Southern E 4 1 1 2 9 12 -3 4
Tuggerah 3 0 0 3 1 29 -28 0

Men's Pool C
Club Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Points
Budgewoi 2 2 0 0 8 2 6 6
Berkeley 2 1 0 1 9 4 5 3
Avoca 2 1 0 1 4 7 -3 3
Ourimbah 2 0 0 2 3 11 -8 0

Men's Pool D
Club Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Points
Gosford 2 2 0 0 8 1 7 6
Wyong 2 1 1 0 6 2 4 4
Killarney 2 0 1 1 2 4 -2 1
Toukley 2 0 0 2 1 10 -9 0

Men's Pool E
Club Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Points
Wyoming 2 2 0 0 7 2 5 6
Doyalson 2 1 1 0 5 3 2 4
The Entrance 2 0 1 1 3 5 -2 1
Woongarrah 2 0 0 2 2 7 -5 0

Not sure if there's a hint of sarcasm there ... the 2pm games may not be finished by the time the A-League GF kicks off at 4pm.

No sarcasm, credit where it is due. The games are scheduled so spectators and players can get home for the 5pm AEDT start.

Some of our posters don't quite understand the concept of Eastern Sates minus QLD putting clocks forward.
