There's actually an opal mine called The Black hand, the entrance is here:
You walk down this incredible staircase to about 20 metres below ground and what might you see carved on the ceiling?
This amazing miner has carved and painted all sorts of stuff down there, including all the HAL teams logos. Just thought I'd post it on a slow news day.
