ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

"Grimsby won their place at Wembley after a nervous 0-0 draw with Morecambe in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Final second leg.

The Mariners will play MK Dons in the final after their 1-0 aggregate win over Sammy McIlroy's men - but they were forced to work hard by Morecambe who were the better side on the night.

Danny North had an early chance to put Grimsby ahead but saw his volley from a Rob Atkinson flick-on tipped over the bar by keeper Scott Davies.

Davies also held a shot from Danny Boshell while Phil Barnes pulled down a long-range effort from Adam Yates.

It was all Morecambe after the break with Carl Baker seeing his left-foot shot held on the line at the second attempt by Barnes.

Substitute Michael Twiss shot narrowly wide and in added time Craig Stanley was denied the equaliser by a find save from Barnes."

;D ;D ;D

Que sera, sera, whatever will be will be, we're going to wemberleeeeey, que sera, sera!!

I can't wait, less than 3 weeks to go and hopefully 20,000+ mariners should be making the 4 and a half hour journey to the capital to roar on the mighty stripes to victory against the franchise!!

Last time Alan Buckley was the manager we went to Wembley twice in the same season and won twice (League 1 Play-Off Final & Football League Trophy). With us being 6 points off the play-offs with 7 games to go, there's a small chance it might just happen again.  ;D

And they lost to MK dons 2-0 this morning

Why would a team that loses to mk dons play at wembley

Because hard as it may be for you to realise there are other ways to get to Wembley than the FA cup, League cup or promotion playoffs. There is a world outside of the premier league.

All the best to the black and white Mariners for the rest of the season!
