I'm not really understanding this apparently increasing trend of standing mute on issues that most concern the fan base. Here we are 5 days out from season start and there has been zero comms on Simmo. It's just weird. Is this a function of the new ownership or some new PR person or what? Keeping this under wraps so close to season start is odd, I'm genuinely interested in where Simmo's career goes from here. We're all hoping he can at least cameo this season... surely the decision has been made by now?

By the way there's an F3 derby this week, which he's slightly famous among fans for firing up for...

It's quite obvious that a club legend is being given more time than anyone else would be in his situation, to finish his career, on his terms without pressure.

Really not sure why everyone is frothing over him other than his send off into retirement. His best work for us will not be done on the field no matter how f**king fit he is.

well, speaking from a genuine knowledge of blown discs and broken bones in your neck and the subsequent pain levels, just walking friggin hurts , so running up and down a football pitch is out of the question , in my humble, so if i was Simmo, id be naming myself CCM community liason and approved scum shit stirrer and give up sticking shin pads down my socks
