To be fair to Kye, he largely had to learn his craft without being alongside an experienced CB, so more credit to him for succeeding anyway.

You can see Kye has some deficiencies at the top level that maybe leaving earlier might have helped get rid of them before they are habbits.

Pretty good scoop by Monty if can sell him within the year we took him from WSW

Monty signed him to 2 yr contract straight away so definitely has something

I’m a big fan of a 4-2-3-1.

You could view the 2 players as DM’s but a lot of teams are playing this overseas and if your fullbacks get the ball to the next line quickly they act as an attacking midfielders if they can turn the ball and take off through the middle they then have 4 options to play through balls.

And a great structure to set with to encourage easy passing triangles so you’re not thinking as much.
Great counter attack option if the team moves up the pitch together quickly as a unit.
