ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The only thing I dread about this deal is the outpouring of "why are we always loosing players" (these retards cant spell)
Lets assume that the clubs operating loss is $1m a season (I dont know but wouldnt be far off). The owner(s) have 2 options
1) Pay it themselves
2) Sell players to cover the deficit.
We are a selling club. It is what it is.
We move on

Yeah at the end of the day it’s how we survive. Sucks to lose players we come to love but we all know dingo himself said he doesn’t want to leave but if he can make the club some money then he will.

Just hope the money is continued to be used wisely. Extend Tulio for a couple years so we can command a fee eventually for example.

Having a 17 goal striker has been an absolute privilege and a master stroke from Monty and Serg bringing JC to the club. A unique player under unique circumstances. Couple that with 2 Kuols, we have been living a charmed life. We undoubtedly have some strong young players and a strong team but I'm not sure where that x-factor is going to come from next season, it could be Tulio but i fear he'll also go. This is undoubtedly a special team and a special season, we have every chance to beat MC, it feels right, it feels like this team's destiny. We might not get this chance again for another 10 years, certainly not with a team this good. It's by no means a given, for either side. We can do this.

Gee, I didnt realise that Tulio bought out his own contract to come to us. I'm impressed.

Good article but I’m getting over our team being called “misfits”.
What Monty and Serg did was prove how bad the judgement of other coaches is. The players we brought in from other aleague sides were not bad players, the coaches were awful coaches that didn’t know what they had or how to get the best out of them. Theo, Mcgarry, DWH, Nectar.

The only player that ever had issues was Cummings as far as I’m aware

Tbh I think Jason has always been a very good player. My hunch is that he was/is shy and his extrovertedness is or was a covering mechanism. He has shown here he knows how to be professional and how to be an important rather than problem part of the dressing room. Monty has been the making of him!!!

As a Liverpool supporter I remember him. As a Mariners supporter I just loved him here and hope he is back

The appreciation he showed Monty tells me he'll be back here after this contract if Monty is still the gaffer. Really interested to see who Sergio and Monty replace him with for those 2yrs and interested in if they'll even be here for the King of the coasts return. Postef**kyou showed Monty that he needs to fine tune his skills here before leaving, however being Scottish may give him paths that Postef**kyou never had. May be tempting to leave earlier than he did with the offers that Mont will receive.

Why do you hate Ange P? It’s almost unAustralian even if you support the Rangers.

Yeah actually there wasn't a game that would make me hate him so maybe I need to rethink that.............. Nah. Love his achievements, but he is Roar and Victory in this country so f**k him.
Don't get me wrong, I'll be cheering him on because he's breaking through barriers for Aus football.
