ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Not at all.

Portuguese sounds like Spanish spoken with a Russian accent.
One of my best mates at my school in Birmingham was Emmanuel De Jesus. A little Portuguese lad. I always protected him and he was very likable. He had an older brother who was thick as shit. Because he was so dumb and his English was bad they kept repeating him so he was 18yo when everyone else was 14yo.
I always remember coz he was about 5ft 4in but built like a brick shit-house. When we would walk to get the bus he would rip his shirt off if it was above 15c to reveal a tanned Mike Tyson physique that us skinny white boys would be slightly in awe of.
I have been to Portugal and that is a tough lingo to tame.

And then I wore an onion on me belt. It was the sign of the times.

I remember when we played Bosnars Korean club in the ACL - he had the reputation of hitting long range screamers from free kicks but came off a 20 yard run up to do so. So Arnie told Wee Judas to stand 10 yards from the ball but in the direct line of Bosnar's run-up. Bosnar blew up de-luxe but there was nothing illegal in the tactic
