ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

This is a bloody superb decision by the club on top of some already bloody excellent decisions around the playing roster.

For the first time in many years I am genuinely excited about the prospects for the coming season. Come on peoples, if you haven’t already renewed your membership, get your bloody arses in gear!

Well done Monty. Have had many a chat with him over the years and he has always been happy to give 5 minutes of his time to talk football. Bleeds yellow, knows our culture and already has a good relationship with many of the core leadership group. Hopefully we can get 3-4 years of success and stability before he inevitably moves on to greater things.

He'll expect everyone to have a high work ethic. I expect him to bring his assistant Sergio with him. Another great football brain.
One thing I think Nick will bring is a better transition from the Youth ranks into A-league. He won't see allowing players training with the A-league squad (but not seeing game time) to play in the Youth matches as a negative. A more wholistic approach between both squads

Do you think he finishes the season with the youth boys? You’d like to think so as they are close to their goal and he can continue the hands on work with the boys transitioning to the senior team but may put to much work load on him with so much planning now required.

When does the youth season finish

Congratulations Monty!

Very happy with his appointment. Well deserved imo. Very accomplished and loyal CCM player and coasty, and has shown significant talent as a coach. Now hoping he can grow to become the best coach in the HAL and bring us into a new era of success. For nearly everyone else, we're just a career stepping stone at best. But Monty even if successful, I could see coaching us for a number of years, not bailing at the first decent opportunity.
