ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The Socceroos thread.

A warning for anyone that is planning going down by public transport, you may have a long wait on the return trip - the first post-game train back to the coast does not depart Strathfield until midnight.

It seems the train that usually leaves Strathfield at 23.01 / Central at 22.38 is not currently running

I'll never lose my natural optimism for Australian football and the Socceroos, but it's a long time since it all felt so low.

Seeing the Socceroos lose to FC Gothenburg at Parra Stadium back in the 80s was my previous low point - and we bounced back from there.

Hopefully we see some players (like Stensness or Genreau or Tilio) step up and carve a name for themselves tonight. After all, Frodo never quite believed he'd get to chuck the ring into the Cracks of Doom... we do have some sort of chance.

Interesting team, hope they are pumped. Not too sure who will handle the wet conditions better. Looks pretty wet out Homebush way.

How frustrating is Hrustic, Duke with a free header does what he does best. Bruno at half time as well as Jeggo. MOM so far is cross bar, amazed they haven’t scored and unlikely to go the whole game without a goal.
