ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

SBS sports presenter lands ESPN gig

SBS Television football presenter Andrew Orsatti will leave the public broadcaster this month after accepting a dream global presenting role on US-based sports giant ESPN.

Orsatti rose from cadet 12 years ago to become the face of SBS's World Cup coverage last year.

He will join ESPN as co-anchor of flagship studio show, SportsCenter, which broadcasts to Australia and New Zealand.

Orsatti, host of The World Game, said he was indebted to the passion and encouragement of his SBS colleagues for helping develop his reporting and presenting skills over 12 years at the network.

"I've had the opportunity to be part of SBS's presentation of a number of major international events, particularly football, and believe the network remains a leader in its coverage of the sport," he told AAP.

Vice president for production at ESPN International, Chris Calcinari, said the US broadcaster was thrilled to have a journalist of Orsatti's calibre.

Orsatti was expected to host his last episode of The World Game on December 16 before moving to Connecticut in the US next month.

Orsatti's appointment follows the resignation of former Network Ten sports presenter Ryan Phelan from his role as ESPN co-presenter.
