ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Round 5 - CCM vs Carl Robinson's last chance.

Another great win. Every player stood up again, and a young squad with good leaders means max. energy and pizazz but with enough notice experience for a professional win.
Roux will soon only be played off the bench when it's an absolute need, only player not to be excellent.

Great result tonight considering the conditions (haven't felt that hot at CCS in a long time), can we please only kick off at 6pm or later in summer!

Boys looked solid tonight, happiest thing for me is 2 clean sheets at home in a row (would love to know the last time that happened!)

Only negative for me, a crowd of 4500ish, surely we are disappointed in that!

Bring on Tuesday night, hope to see some of you down at Leichardt!

Thought the same.... but don't tell anyone!!
I told the Wanderer's fan who was sitting with me where the ball would go and actually said we would see the quality of WSW's homework.
Very telling.
Unless WSW get rid of Robinson they have the spoon.
Too many good players to play that poorly.
Will post more after watching the replay. Lots of observations to present.

Marco is frustrating at times but look at the positions he gets into, he creates that many chances for himself and the team that once he gets his confidence back he could easily be 10-15 goals a season. He is class and we are fortunate to have him, another note, im an idiot for sitting in the eastern grandstand, near melted, players did it tough today.

Not sure I believe that we’re lucky to have him.
He should’ve had 3 goals tonight but it basic striking technique and slowness on the ball when he was in huge amounts of space that let him down. Not confidence.
he should be the most confident striker in the league knowing he’s going to get roughly 4 big chances per game because the team does all the work for him.

Suspect he is out

Not the best game ever, thought the Wanderers were downright awful. Good to see Ziggy is thriving in that winning culture.

Midfield was excellent, Nisbet and Ollie were both outstanding. MOTM performance from Bozanic, classy as ever.

..... but good lord, our attack has been terrible so far this season. Frankly not surprised that Urena was booed, his touch has been completely off but at least he was involved and constantly present, so I'm not going to be too critical; Moresche on the other hand was pretty much nonexistent today which is really disappointing. Nice to see Manny Aguek get a run, thought he looked sharp.

And oh yeah, NSW is officially yellow and blue!!!

Please give Marco a break, one week people love him the next is throw him on the scrap heap. He does sooo much for this team but all some see is are missed shots. That’s football and It’s like a broken record.
Just goo feasters whingeing after a bad game shooting wise. Next they will be after Nizzy.
We used to see them go after Kwassy in a similar way. Look to Mick's posts about strikers and having time to think. With Marco you get much more than a brainless striker. If he were playing at Sydney beside ALF they would be unbeatable.

100% agree. He was still involved and constantly moving and running into open space. Just needs to find his touch. He'll get there, but booing the guy isn't exactly going to help him ??‍♂️
