ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

News aggregation - LINKS PLEASE!

News aggregation would be great.
No idea if this is an actually implementable idea but Inside Sport do it.
A bot that posts things from the club, KeepUp or other Australian soccer news outlets. Make CCMFans the easiest, most convinent place to find out Mariners news primarily but also some broader A-League news too.

I just split this one out into a new thread.
If we could get a list of links to news outlets, or other sources like social media, other forums, whatever, whatever, that we want to monitor, that would be great :D

Also have to work out how it would work. Possibly create a new thread for each article, first post has excerpt and whatever images used - like if you post a link on Facebook - and then click through to the original content, whatever site it lives on. The rest of the thread for comments. This could get a bit spammy though, and then we will prob get a heap of double-ups where people are posting the same article in other threads. Not sure that is a huge problem though?

Anyway, links first, work out how it actually works next :D

I'll do it in more detail when I get a chance in the next few days but this Twitter list is what I use for Australian Football. Has basically every football journalist, every Australian football specific media outlet, every governing body, every A-League side, the most relevant NPL sides, most of the players on Twitter and a few other miscellaneous people who post near exclusively about Australian football.
