ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I know this is a tad premature but this is the first time any time any team I have supported has qualified for a continental competition.

I'll be attending at least one Away Game ands would love to hear others plans.

The draw hasn't happend yet but these are the countries we could face:

What’s the difference between this and the champions league? Knockout games?
Countries are divided in different zones and play group games.

We're in the South East Asian Zone, if we get out of our group there are then knock-out games against the other group winners in our South East Asian zone.

If we win the South East Asian Zone, which Giancarlo Gallifuoco did with Kuala Lumpur City last season, you then play the other Zones winners in knockout games that decide who wins the AFC Cup.

So if we have a decent Australia Cup run we will have 3 games before Matchday 1 of the AFC Cup, followed by 2 more games before Matchday 2 and then the start of the season around 6th October.

I can't remember from last time, do we expect the AFC Cup home games to be included in the membership next season or will they be extra?

Have always been a stand alone membership in previous seasons.
Pretty cheap IIRC. Used to do 3 game passes for the group games.
Also wildly over priced official tours for people who think going to Asia without tour guides is somehow dangerous (it isnt)

Anyone think that this
qualification could keep the cumdog here for next season? Wouldn't you much rather strutting your wares on this stage than in India. I could see a Korean or Japanese team coming in for him January if he scores a few in this comp.

I would be disappointed if he went to India, not because I begrudge him the money, but if he leaves for OS I sill think he adds a different option for the Socceroos and I feel he will do his NT chances no good in India. Maybe a stint in the MLS
