ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

This will be a tough test. Roar beat the reigning champions / premiers SFC and the losing preliminary finalist from last year (MV) in their first 2 games, before they lost in Wellington last week. After a 3 week layoff, we may be a bit rusty and need the run. Tameka Yallop played 45 mins for them in R2 and 60 mins in R3 so she is probably close to lasting 90 this week.

Our biggest 2 signings (Simon and Dumont) will be watching from the stands so all up we should be the underdogs but what I have seen of this team so far I think we can still get the job done.

West stand is open so there is absolutely no excuse not to get there early and give them some support.

Dumont finally announced. Great signing for us.
Assume we got her cheaper because others not prepared to let her play both sports.

She said MV sacked her on twitter because she wanted to play both.

Considering AFLW Is during the start of the ALW season it’s not unreasonable. Think it would be different if they didn’t collide but allows us to be more free thinking to get quality players.

It’s a shame professionalism has hurt dual players but i get it.

Was always interesting to follow dual sports players like Dion Sanders in NFL and Baseball and plenty others and they bloody good as well

Someone in the ALW marketing section would be happy to know they've gotten into your head.

On a more serious note there's been US based players that dont play a whole season so I cant see how this is too much different beyond the pissing contest between codes..
