ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I think the combination of Kuol and Aqualina on the same side has exposed us alot on that side. I noticed Monty switched Kuol in the last 15 or so.

Couple of big decisions to make here

Started well, great composed finish from beni who strangely had some very ordinary touches for the rest of the half. Aquilina is good going forward but regularly caught too high.
fazz’s yellow was clown worthy from the ref, was a very good tackle that didn’t even get that flog burgess.
Max looks brilliant.
All forward players dangerous.
penalty was unlucky with Hally just falling over. Verrrry soft 2nd goal. Sozer is not confident with a ball at his feet.

still very winnable. Despite the boys fading a little in the last 10.

Lack of communication and tracking from Balard and Beni caused the second goal but Aquilina should never have let that pass happen.

Lost control of the midfield beyond the first 20 minutes. Need to get control back of the midfield if we're to come back.
Agreed. He just casually strolled over and allowed a through ball into the box.

Absolutely no way should you be getting those balls into the box like that, Lewis would have sprinted right at him

Honestly, playing 442 we lose the midfield in most of our matches. It’s to be expected.

but you are right, some of the tracking has been average. Comes down to fitness at this point too though.
