    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

    If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

CCM vs Victory

Reading the sanctions handed down to victory today, it appears only member and fans already holding a ticket for the new years match will be able to attend?
I was rallying a group of over 20 to come down but hadn’t confirmed numbers - seems like we are screwed? If this is legit and mariners can’t protests, this will KILL the budget for the season.

Not the way I read it. Non Vic postcode people should be fine.

  • Only Members and Supporters of the Home Team will be permitted to enter the Venue;
  • Melbourne Victory FC must use best endeavours to discourage the attendance of all supporters of the Club, including messaging that the Venue will be restricted to supporters of the Home Team only;
  • APL to work with the Home Team to refund any tickets which are associated with a Victorian postcode or to any person that they reasonably believe is a supporter of Melbourne Victory FC, where any ticket operator charges related to the refunds are borne by Melbourne Victory FC;

. the first article i saw did not have the split with different rules for away matches in or out of VIC - maybe the info has changed or limited/mis-information was/is being circulated. so i would have agreed with Coastalraider before looking at the above link

. i reckon people are obviously seeing the restricted information and it is likely to have an impact on the crowd numbers

. first the cove boycott and now this on NYE - the club's two biggest pay days ruined by administrators

That’s what they’ve hinted at. Obviously not done as we still don’t know the derby situation. But this is a soft start.
It’s purely a case of we need to do something in the interim while we come up with a final punishment and we aren’t going to let those turds ruin our Christmas break.

The FFA/APL can name the people they have banned they don’t have to mention for what reason…
The leaked ban list a while back was a low point for fan relations. There’s no need to go down that path again. Bucket man has his face and name all over the place, anyone else who committed assault or other serious acts may be facing the same. The rest of the minor players can enjoy their fine and ban.
