ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hull 1 - Bristol City 0

Hull gets promoted to Premier League.

They will only last 1 year there.....

I watched the match and it was a fantastic goal by Dean Windass.
He will need to loose some weight before the start of next season because I can hear a song starting by the opposition fans...

Good, just the thought of Nicky Carle anywhere near the EPL made me cry. Good for Hull

Best league in world?? What a load of crap.

Stoke v Hull

Name a better one, keeping in mind three out of 4 of the Champion's League semi-finalists were in this league.

Spain and Italy are both higher quality leagues in depth than the EPL IMHO

There are only 4 real quality sides and the rest are either just surviving or hoping for a cup run.

Look at the EPL teams progress in the UEFA cup, once the "big 4" are taken out of the picture there is v little quality left.

Wasn't bothered who won that game, but was delighted to see a succession of headlines with the name Wind-ass in them.....truly priceless, particularly the news reader who made a point of pronouncing it Windes!

You've also got to love a sport that produces moments like that one - a 38 or 39 year old, local boy, in the twilight of his career, who scores what was surely the goal of his career, in front of 80,000 odd fans at Wembley.

Agree. You dotn judge the quality of a league by the top teams, you judge it by the overall standard. English teams below the big 4 struggle. Unlike teams from italy and spain, especially spain, where it does not seem to matter which team is in the uefa cup, they give it a good go.
