ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners Centre of Excellence is GO!

$3B POKIE ADDICTION
A STAGGERING $3.07 billion was pumped through Central Coast pokies last financial year as experts warn the region’s problem gambling “hidden crisis” is only getting worse.

New figures released by Liquor and Gaming NSW show punters lost at least $306 million — or $1100 per adult — on the Coast’s 4673 poker machines in 2015-16, an increase of about 2 per cent on the previous financial year.

Proud that my AFL side (North Melbourne) don't make money off of pokies and would rather we didn't either but if it keeps the club afloat...

Do they make money off alcohol?
Its a club. People want to have a drink, a feed and a slap.
If they are serious they could put limits on problem gamblers.

All well and good til those problem gamblers, as problem gamblers do, tend to find a way around it.

They simply won't go to a place with heavy restrictions, which is fine by me. Rather us be responsible but not a kill joy

Not sure the COE is a great site for a pub or club tbh. Who would go there? It's in the middle of an industrial and commercial zone.

I think a nice pub/club would be great as meeting place for fans to watch the away games.
It`s not the greatest sitting at Terrigal pub or the bowlo trying to watch a game, with people around that just aren`t interested.
I`d much prefer to go to the COE & meet up with other members & get to know them.
That`s how I met ROY LAW one night at Tuggerah.

I went to the youth game on Saturday. That's the first time I've been there to see a game.
I was surprised at how much of a slope there was on the pitch. Being a "Centre of Excellence"
I think I was expecting a nice flat pitch. But then again it is the Mariners...
