ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Was supposed to be a decent player.......... turned out he wasn't.
He was more than a decent player - just well before he came here 11/12 - 16/17 played more than 25 games each season in the top level at Germany before an ACL. Never the same player after that.

My German mate is a HSV supporter and often told me how good a player Muller was. Absolutely raved about Broich before he came to Australia as well.

With DPC winning the first team shirt and getting the contract extension.

Who is the academy No1. Would it be Jai Janovic?

Is warshawsky to old?
Jack is still eligible (2004 born). Jai (2008 born) has only just turned 16 so would be a big ask but as Big Dyl (and so many others) has shown if you’re good enough, you’re old enough.
Jack also put in some excellent performances towards the back end of last season.

NPL draw is out now on the NPL website (or the Dribl app for those who use it)
Pluim must be getting some work done, as both the men and women are away for 8 consecutive weeks at the start of the season.
Yep all pitches were stripped and had drainage works done.

Interestingly also - our 20s will now play after first grade. Whether this is in part related to the point deduction/forfeit shenanigans last season I don’t know (gut says probably).

Means we get a decent run home in the second half of the season at least!
Not complaining, glad pluim is getting a facelift, though would’ve been good to see a double-header or 2 at the stadium again. Ah well.
And maybe like last year we improve as the season goes and those home games might really help avoid relegation

NPL season starts in three weeks on Friday 7 February with Manly hosting the Mariners.

Any Mariners’s squad news? Who is back? Who is looking good? How many players will Gibbo annoy and try to friend them on Facebook thinking they are his best friend?
Mariners usually put a squad list out just before R1, that is as much as a preview as you are going to get. Wouldn't surprise me if Gibbo has the full squad listing already though.

They do have their first trial game tonight v Hills Utd at Valentine according to the Dribl app, and further trials at Marconi and St George over the next 2 weekends
