ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Not much he can do without a striker to be fair.
They are a lot more organised now but hamstrung because the money isn't there to pay for quality
So if you take over a team that doesn`t have a recognised or capable striker what do you?
Basically you have two options:- either play without one or manufacture one from the players you have.
List what you like to see a striker doing then scan your players and see who`s the best fit.
I haven`t seen the NPL side play this year, but I saw enough on Saturday night to see the potential of Bayliss.
Fast, comfortable on the ball good dribbler at speed.
He can attack the space beyond the defenders and can pick a gap in the defence.
He also looked to be a very intelligent player and would work his arse off ensuring a high press.
For mine he ticks a lot of boxes.
I`d be starting him at right back for the first 20 mins or so ,so that he can watch the opponents defence.
Then i`d switch him up front with instructions to the midfields to find the space behind the defence where Bayliss could excel......
