Not a bad game between Cows and Roar and probably a fair result. Cows will be no push overs next weekend but the AFC games will be interesting for both teams. Glad we are not travelling next week.

So good to see the Plastics go down and makes it better that Premiers and Champions both lose their first match of the new season. Feel better now, been some good games for round 1 so far. Going to be an interesting season and probably close.

WU v Mel City was a top quality game.Both sides looked good in attack,especially Arslan for City and Penha for WU.Lachie Wales had a great game-I know there are many Wales haters on this forum-but he worked his butt off in attack and defence.I would love to have him back in our colours.

Still major doubts about the firepower Victory have. Their first was an absolute gift you won’t get very often and the second should have been dealt with easily by the keeper. Very wasteful earlier. Their defending was solid but a clean sheet alone can’t get 3 points.

For Victory's 2nd goal I thought for a second I was watching a RL second rower smashing through tackle after tackle.TBF to Redmayne he probably thought the defenders would have stopped the bulldozing French Moroccan and was surprised when the Victory player emerged from the ruck ,hence his slow reaction.
