ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Round 1: Mariners v [I was going to make a joke about their life, but life beat me to it] Scum

I am a bit surprised by the drainage.

I know it’s a lot of rain, but just drove past 2 local fields that look in better condition.

The water seems stuck where surely should keep the gradient to the sidelines where it would build up.

now just for shits and giggles, couldn't the groundsman dragged the covers over 3 days ago ...its not like this pour down was a state secret...i knew it was coming from up here in Brisvegas
To be fair its been so shit the last few days and particularly this arvo it probably wouldn't have made a difference. I think they went this far with it to see the Simmo farewell through, otherwise it would have been cancelled earlier I expect. Plus side, it was a pretty good size crowd for a rainy day, I'd be interested to know the gate number.

Listen we’ve to be fair, we’ve had a ton e of rain over the last 18 months, this isn’t a real outlier I don’t think, but I’ve never seen the pitch hold water like that. I can understand an expectation it might be ok, but was pretty obvious at. 5 it wouldn’t be draining.
