ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I have written to the administrator to pose that exact same question. How can he consider and insider bid and not expect an ICAC referral.

I also suggest he flog the ground for more units and get the developer to chip in with a 10/15 k boutique stadium somewhere cheaper on the Coast and pay their (my) debt off with the rest. That makes commercial sense for the council so wont happen

We’ve reviewed your feedback and feel there are elements to explore further

Six months later - sells land cheap to developer mates and no replacement stadium in sight.

This is gonna end badly isn't it?

Who's political suckhole is the administrator attached to? I'm going to assume its the govt of the day unless otherwise informed

With RL today announcing the next expansion team for the NRL is in Brisbane, with a number of and areas pushing... it should be beyond clear the North Sydney Bears are not going to become the Central Coast Bears..

Even the NRL media give the Coast no hope of getting a team...

Bout time this plays a role in future stadium use...we will be the only CC team in a professional league... Tassie, The Gong, Canberra would all love a team ...

I doubt if it will have any effect on the decision making...

I can the Jets/Fire hawks, Central Qld Coast, Perth and NZ #2 getting teams before the CC.

Side issue or maybe not so side... is as the countries develops networks across all sorts of areas... our local radio stations are part of mega networks today...

Once upon a time ... say 2GO... could try an interview local gov officials or raise hell and it would get picked up by a Sydney broadcaster ...

The lack of interest in this from the national press is beyond disappointing... maybe its time to sent the 7:30 Report or similar heaps of emails ...
