ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Central Coast Mariners V Sydney FC

It better not be this prick tomorrow. Stats show blatant bias against us and in favour of SFC as compared to win/loss ratios for other teams.

The proof of the supposed reform in refs and var will show in the match tomorrow. If we get ripped off again that'll be a clear indication of rigging.

I'm already suspicious that the officials have not been announced yet.

Controversial but I wonder if Monty is the coach tofinally get TBT to realise his potential? He is a bit limited and I suspect SFC think they can do better.
He's very quick and there is still potential there. Might not be too expensive either
Was expecting it before his injury. He has some limitations but he can score and is quick. We lack a right winger but he’s always best for SFC up front and he won’t get a sniff of that here with Cummings snd Urena.

Still physically soft but no where near as bad. Would be good for us.

Will be interesting to see where he fits in the SFC rebuild

Moved this one here from CCM Fans and the Club.

A-League adding a bit of drama? Seems to be something they would do.

I don't like Evans as much as the next person and I think his reffing is an abomination, but the CCM and Syd FC stat is a little misleading noting our position over the last 10 years.
Now if you pointed the collective position of Sydney teams (especially noting the finishing position of WSW over the last couple of years)

And to what extent was our position over the last ten years exacerbated by Evans?

It's neck and neck in the c**tishness race between Evans and Ams but Evans just shaves it.

Ahem...

0 extent, we had been absolute shite for years, cant blame the refs for that
Then why do we hate Evans so much?

It's not just this year he's stolen points from us.

Obviously he's not the biggest problem but he's definitely one of those refs who'll kick you when you're down.

Evans, as well as many other refs, are totally inept at times borderline cheats.

But the refs didnt hire Walmsley, Okon or Mulvey. The refs didnt sign us Hoole, Kennedy, Mitch Austin, Tom Slater, Melling, Faty, Marcel Seip etc etc etc

i hate the dodgy refs as much as the next fan, but you cant blame our shitty years on the refs

As I said, just look at WS under him, extremely questionable.

His officiating over us solely cannot be seen as an anomaly, but the fact that from the 52 games that FC, WSW, and MB have had under him there have been 9 losses that's under 18%.

Don’t do it, you might think we can fix him but we probably won’t. I’d rather see us in for Wales than him. But at any rate Buhagiar would want established player money and I don’t think it’s a great use of our limited resources.
I`d take L.Rose over both of them.
He puts in 100% every minute of game time he gets but is totally under-appreciated at Macarthur.
Solid performer that has great potential ...

I am happy with Beni and Smith as our wingers. I would then look to Hatch and another youngster to deputise.
If you wanted something better I would spend the money on a quality visa spot, someone like Ninkovic a couple of years ago.
Hopefully we should be able to afford them with some players not going around next year.
I am not sure of their contracts for next year, but doubt we will see Muller, Goddard, Storm, or Matty. Other possibles are Ollie and Miller. We will need some top quality as well as youth.
I do not think Wales or TBT are what we want.

Dont think Monty is a fan. He played over 70 games for us and we released him (then drifted around NPL for a bit)
I agree, I always thought he put in a shift in what was a really shit side

I don't really rate L Rose on what I've seen (despite looking like a young Matt Simon). Think we've already got better. Don't want TB back here either - always frustrated the crap out of me back in the day and don't think he's improved much. Wales is worth consideration - has definitely improved - if he wants to come home to Terrigal.

Would love someone in the Diamanti style, but that's asking a lot. Cummings is a little reminiscent of him and might improve further, being only 26.
