ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The longer the score remains in question tonight the longer there key attacking players will have to stay out in the field

4-0 now, definitely out of question, not sure if it’s a good thing or not though, Sydney could come out firing against us in response to this shocking display now, or it could work in our favour as this result could hugely dent Sydney’s confidence, but if they play like this against us we should get the win

.
Next year with Talay at the helm they will again be a force..

I'm guessing that's a rumour. If they go with an Aussie I'm hoping the big Ufuk is the next Socceroos coach.

Lots hope for Poppa but I think he'd just be Arnie 2.0 when it comes to game plan

We can be a real bogey team for Sydney and often do them against the odds. They have been gradually going backwards since Corica took over and even though he is reputed to be a nice guy. I look forward to us helping put him out of a job.
I still remember the 1st season grand final.

Make hay while the sun shines.
I`d like to see Ufuk with Sydney Ancient...

Bling know their chances of making finals will be impacted by this game and will need to fight.
Could be a problem - or it could mean they open up a lot trying to go forward and we can take advantage.

High hopes for this game. A win, especially a good win, puts our fate into our own hands for this season.

Only thing I'm now really concerned about is the APL's desire for as many big clubs to make the 6 as possible so the finals series isn't a disaster from a crowd attendance perspective. I feel we can expect some pretty dodgy calls against us on Saturday night. Who knows the APL might give Evans the whistle to make sure SFC stay in the finals race.

Was looking at the attendance stats the other day, the league as a whole is averaging about 5,100 per game and we are 3,300 per game and only above the Nix and Meth Cows. APL will be thinking does a 3,000 per game club deserve to be in the finals and not SFC who get over 5,000????? The APL cannot lay straight in bed in my opinion so lets see what is added to the refereeing shockers thread after this game. These averages are down over 50% on pre covid when the crowd numbers were already falling every season. I'm sure they would love the Drive Byes (2nd on the list) to be there however they appear to be too inept to make it however they could still mathematically make it if things go their way.

Paramount's ratings must be pretty poor reading as well, I note there is very little mention of TV ratings figures from the APL.

A big crowd needed on Saturday night and hopefully the weather clears as expected for the weekend. We need to lift that average.

Alot of negative in that.
the weather and the midweek games haven't helped.
And to boot there is hardly any media cutting through.
I'm hoping that the funding from the sold share of the Aleague, hasn't been used, so we actually have a war chest to work with next year. To do meaningful advertising.

If Evans is appointed for Saturday night, then that would be a pretty frank admission of the APL agenda.

Mind you, Ams is just as bad. The chap on the weekend was pretty good, as was the chap on Tue night. (Please don't tell me it was Evans or Ams!)

Yeah Faghani is good. Who was the ref on Tuesday?

If I didn't notice he clearly had a good game.

Agree the scheduling has not helped at all and not all states have experienced the bad weather. It's pretty dire reading for the APL to be honest. A good crowd on Saturday is a must.
