ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Veart claiming Irankunda not given enough protection and was checked three or four times. As his coach he should be telling him grow up son and if you want to play at this level be prepared to take some knocks ,keep cool, cut out nasty tackles and let your football skills do the talking.

@Ancient Mariner that was for you mate, hope your faith is restored and we can all stand together for what is to come
I never lost faith with the players, they have shown total commitment all season.
My depression with football is more to do with with the incompetence in the management of football generally, and more specifically, the A-League. Along with the inconsistencies in the officiating and judicial rulings I wonder how in hell can our club survive in what I see as a downward spiral of the league.

Having said that I thought Beath's performance tonight was the best refereeing I have seen since the A-League began.

When we beat the divers 4-0 in January they were flat and we took advantage. Tonight they were up for it and we owned them.

They kid themselves saying we're just a long ball counter attacking team. Our playing out from the back is just getting better and better, some of it was sumptuous tonight. I think we have a lot of options, build up, long passes, counter attack - we can do it all.

Veart, what a dick. Nesteroy got no protection from the ref, Nesteroy was the aggressor. His players grab, hack, dive all game, can't stand them.

Obvious stars tonight for the 321, but there are so many that plug away and just get their job done without fanfare. Max, one of his best, Storm the quiet achiever, Nector/Kaltak we win 4-1 but they had work to do and dominated their lanes.

Talking of Kaltak, our first goal came when three of their players were tentatively watching the ball bounce and he just strode through and boom, smashed a header to set up the counter. Have another look if you get the chance, loved it .

Top tips...venting done, burst with love, let the accumulated disappointments and blackness disperse, this is what the whole season has been about, finals baby. Feel the hate, the fear, the disdain, the disappointment flow out of you as finals fever and joy at efforts rewarded comes to fruition. Feel hope. We're in the fkin AFC and I'll be there with my boys in the away bay wherever it takes us. AFC boys trip, yewww!

Will be great experience for our young guns and exposure for the club.

However I remember the Asian champions league always took the wind out of the A-League teams with the travel then returning to play A-League games.

It often stopped the top teams on strong winnings streaks and put them out of form.
