ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners Centre of Excellence is GO!

Hopefully the turf will be top notch.
Whats the odds of it looking 10 times better than BT?

Turnbull stated that all 4 pitches would be world class with proper drainage and irrigation systems built in from day 1. He confirmed it wouldn't be the same system as Bluetongue LOL

Hopefully they dont hire the same groundkeeper then

Can't do the terracing behind one goal as they're planning to plant palm trees there ;)

And yes, very distracting avatar (in the nicest possible way).

Onya Bex for getting there on such little notice, and for the update. Cheers.

The pleasure was all mine. It kinda helps that I work about 500m from Club Tuggerah  ;D

Does anyone know the construction company or the design company assigned to this project? Might try and get some work experience as part of my uni degree.

Interesting if Gull had not informed us of the meeting and Bex attended and made his report we would no nothing because as of now 9:10,  29 June there is nothing on the club site to update people as to whats going on...

Given how important the COE is to our future and the clubs identity, I wonder aloud why is it so?  Why are the club not putting this on the club web site... I assume they will in time but why such a time lag.

Given that, with membership renewals, it is one of the busiest times of the year for staff I can handle it taking a few days to get written and put up.

Also we don't know who actually updates the website, with it being a generic style for all clubs, so the article may of been held up for a day to be done with the Doig article.

Well done to Peter Turnbull and Lyall Gorman, and to everyone else involved. This is a real lift to the spirits and shows that despite recent disappointments this is a club to be truly proud of.

True, we may moan and bitch about football related issues but you only have to look up the F3 to see the clear difference between the quality of people running CCM and Con - he is simply an embarrassment to the game.

"We are all very excited about reaching this stage of the development and it re-iterates our commitment to the region, said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman.

"And as an added feature, most facilities on site will be available for the use of Mariners Members and members of Wyong RSL Club," Gorman said.

A couple of interesting quotes. Great to see the club addressing some of the issues that have been raised about possible franchise relocation and member benefits.

I work on a lot of websites like the a-league one, probably no one to upload the info to the databases over the weekend, being in pre-season mode.

Good info in news article, though. Very exciting  :vhappy:

Yeah, a couple of pointed barbs our way I guess. Good they are addressing peoples' concerns for the future by making these sort of statements.

its actually public domain, only reason i knew how to find it is cos we're currently building our own house and found our plans on the wyong council website...
if you go to this link: http://wsconline.wyong.nsw.gov.au/applicationtracking/modules/applicationmaster/default.aspx?page=search

put tuggerah in the search box for suburb its in that list

interestingly it values the construction cost at $18.5 million, perhaps we shouldnt expect any big name signings for a fair while  ;D
