ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

This must have been a different game

Thanks PJ. Slightly different take on events. Spinning 3 zip as a dominant performance the other way is rich even by Sydney’s standards. Especially if our “luck” held for another thirty minutes and two additional goals.

From anything I’ve seen of him, Ive rated him higher than smylie and Kuol (alou more energy and hunger) Never saw Cahill play to compare.
You'd hope that level of energy and hunger just isn't present yet because he hasn't made his full team debut. Otherwise without it you'd be hard pressed to make it

not saying Tsekenis lacks it. Alou’s determination was just next level.
I remember seeing a couple goal highlights last season of Damien where his high press alone created goals for himself.

He has a swagger about him. Would be a prick to play against.
Not a kuol power house, think a cross between Tommy P's subtlety and Simon's shithousery (maybe not at their level yet though)
As long as we can get the ball to him, he will go ok

Spoke to Marcos today and he said that the Sydney win has given the young players a great shot of confidence. Perfect timing and he thinks they’re all capable of really leveling up this season.

Team harmony is awesome. Leadership across the park and “ Monty is doing a fantastic job both tactically and in developing the younger players. He rates Moresche as a talented footballer and loved combining with Nis yesterday who stepped in after Simmo withdrew late and in true Nis fashion didn’t miss a beat. We’ve got a lot of youthful energy and talent as well as seasoned intelligence and creativity in the squad this year. I’m beyond
excited for this season.
