ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

2022/23 Season

This A-League season will be a Friday evening game, two concurrent 5:30pm games, a 7:45pm game, and two Sunday games at different times.
That's an interesting way of doing things. I thought the idea of having the dual 745 games made a lot of sense for TV broadcast options and heat. 5:30 is more family friendly I guess and Perth home games are just as likely to kick off later anyway. 5:30 also means it can be a night game in NZ if the nix are home.

Apparently no midweek games this season
There must be though assuming they are stopping for FIFA breaks and a four week finals series, which they said they would be. Otherwise we finish on June 10-11th rather than May 27-28th as advertised. Possibly a number of games during the Christmas - early January. Either that or we are cutting rounds to 24.

I would think we'll still see a small number of midweek games like where someone playing in Asia needs to get ahead a bit or maybe in the Christmas holidays but it'll be the exception not the norm. I like watching them on TV tbh but they arent good for home crowds and the early kick offs were bad all round.

I swear I read it on a media release from football aus/APL not too long ago, but can’t for the life of me find it now. It’s rather more likely I dreamt it.

Ayongo, Ruhs and Beni all scored with Garang involved in the 4th causing an own goal. Macarthur have Mackay Magpies next weekend and we have Sydney FC on the Sunday. I suspect they may have been a bit more experimental than we were.
