ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'd play a flat back four with Doka on the left. I think with Doka and Angel on the left (notably against ADL) it will mean that we attack on the left and might keep Irankunda back further. While Storm is a good fullback he struggles against speed a la against Garang in the Socceroo game against the All-Whites.

Would be a potent attack on the left with that set up and enable us to focus the attacks down that side and let Storm sit back a bit more. We need a full 90 from Storm and he seems to struggle with that these days if he is bombing up and down the wing all game.

If we can agree with WU on the result being a scrappy 1-0 win with no injuries or suspensions and not play the game, I'm happy to sign that off.
Especially no injuries/suspensions at the back given that Paull is the last recognised defender back-up (that is ALM ready) for the next 3 games - after that it is Tappy at CB and Steeley at LB.

Would have liked to see Paull getting minutes in the NPL, as part of his natural development but also to ensure he is match fit and match sharp if he is needed. I am sure at least some of the mistakes he has made when he has been called up is down to lack of minutes. But I assume we can't risk him playing NPL and risking injury.

Given we knew a long time back about Faz's likely call up, and that we had no depth at the back, it makes it seem incredibly short sighted that we let both Windust and Larson go at the start of the year.
