OK - for the proposed China trip with Lawrie in either May or June, I have some Qantas prices.
Sydney to Shanghai return is $1060 plus around $360 taxes.
Sydney to Beijing return is $1144 plus around $360 taxes.
There are some other cheaper airlines, but Qantas would be the best bet, but as some of us have mentioned, maybe let this one go and save like mad for next year.

Who knows, we could be playing a team in Bangkok and what a trip that would be - from what I can gather from your last trip to Brisbane, Bangkok would make that one look like a kitchen tea party.
