I like him more as a winger. Slot into Angels spot.
He is however a decent playmaker. His passing is solid enough. But yeah converting is the key. Much like DDS.

The point is our current midfield doesn't have a great scoring record so it's not a fair comparison.

I’ve said many many times I’d take Lachie back with open arms. I feel like he’d come back pretty easily too. Particularly after WU’s current predicament. He’s an experienced player now, he’s always been quality. Maybe he can go to another level coming home. Showing some leadership down there atm too.

We offered him a deal here before he joined WU. He unequivocally rejected us.

In his defence. That was in 19/20, WU offered a whole lot more security at the time, aswell as potential (based on what the club did 2 years later, and where CCM sat).

they’ve both missed a chunk of the season because of a major injury each, but would be harsh to call either of them injury prone tbh.
Kuz will be back in early May, Smit will be back for pre-season.
We’re bringing Mauragis in as LB cover in any case.
