Only got to catch the last half hour but was impressed with what I saw. Tulio in particular did some great work in tight spaces. Almost got caught out at one stage playing out from the back, boys need to know when to cut it out.

I think Monty needs to tweak what Niz and Max are doing. Let Niz have a free role and get Max to play that ball winning holding role. They just keep being in the same sort of areas which was leaving our midfield empty behind the forwards.

Bit of a tweak from jets game where we had no one in front of the back line. But too much adjustment.

He wasn't on for a large amount of time. But Sasha needs to be a mainstay on the bench. Being able to be a Right Back and Wing the way he was, he was classy, calm and composed. Hope we hang onto him for next couple of years before inevitably moving overseas.

Also on a scale of 1 - Hall how good is having Dan Hall back in the starting 11.

Tulio break out game for sure. MOM easily
Almost 2 goals and his ability to control the ball as an outlet was superb. Fantastic first touch. Worked his arse off on defence to get back and cut off thst SFC break. Great game

Hall was immense and imposed his physicality on SFC

How could was Koul’s cross for the Tulio goal but caught on the ball a few times today. Difference between being fresh against tired defense

I feel ever so slightly vindicated after how much I hyped him haha, he was immense today. He’s finally fully fit.
Wonderful win all round, solid game management and even a slight formation change where the dingo played more as a 10 and then triantis as the midfield anchor late on in a 4-3-3… which could be done with Tulio as the playmaker in the middle.

Man of the match definitely Tulio by a mile. Looks like we have found his correct position. A class above all others on the pitch today.
A few hon mentions but I will wait until after I have seen the replay before commenting.
Good protest by CCM with the walkout that made no difference to the support on the field.
Props to SFC for their absence in the active. A shame they did not come to the game and just vacate the bay at 20 mins and move elsewhere. However to each his own.

An essential win. Let's keep the ball rolling.

Massive win. Essential and deserved 3 points. Beat the scum Wednesday and we're back on track. Such fine margins though...could have lost, drawn or romped it in 4-1.

Lots of improvement possible but some great takeaways.

Tulio, that was a very, very classy performance. And his work rate was fantastic. Was still uncertain on him, real mixed bag last game, and though I agreed with Ironbarks sentiments that he looked like he was building... was NOT expecting THAT! Oh boy. Could be a huge player for us.

Great assist by Kuol too. Kid makes things happen and for mine along with Tulio was responsible for swinging the momentum of the game. Had Sydney absolutely shitting themselves.

Beni combined well a couple of times with Tulio, but it wasn't anywhere near enough to justify his spot with all the competition for places we have. Has to go to the bench. So off the pace. No idea what's happened to him? Kuz kid was excellent when he came on. As I see it, that makes 3 attacking players in front of Beni at present based on performances.

Kaltak had a poor start but grew and on set pieces was the monster we needed. Was winning everything.

Danny continues to worry sadly.

Fazz another mixed bag game. Can be hard weathering our young players learning curves.

Cummings is being targeted and is struggling to be found and get any time on the ball at all.

We have to get Niz and or Max on the ball so they can distribute. Chalk and cheese as to when this is happening and when it isn't.

The distinction between when to play out from the back, and when we're flirting with complete disaster has to be learnt - with an emphasis on tipping the scale in favour of safety first when it's getting dicey.

Referees are a continued embarrassment to our league.

Wilkshire certainly seems a decent guy. Has great experience and is part of our club now. Deserves more respect than being called rat boy on here imo. And notice Peil is also starting to get some snipes. Can't see that being justified yet either.

Sitting in 4th with a game in hand on most that will take us to 3rd if we win. Good squad with lots of young talent to be proud of. Passionate new soon to be owner, better finance, passionate hard working coaching team, and Shaun. Few worries, but in our own backyard, really, we have so much to be positive about.

Sure going to be sad to see Garang go though.
