Maybe - but just because Mile didn't know about it doesn't mean MAC weren't involved. They and Brisbane fighting it out for finals with Adelaide would make sense.

TBH though Vidmar should be choosing the team by himself - not after talking to Veart.

Scum play Nix on Friday - if they beat them then we can wrap the plate up against the divers. Whilst it would be sweet to win the plate on their turf - in the dying moments or not - I would much rather have the more pragmatic scenario of the plate in the trophy cabinet already and being able to rest anybody we wanted ahead of (hopefully) the AFC cup final on the following weekend.

If WU beat the divers on Tuesday then Jets are still a shot at the spoon. It is going to be a pretty tortuous night for Scum fans on Friday needing a result to ensure they don't get the spoon but knowing a win would virtually hand us the premiers plate.
