ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Before I start I wanna clarify that I am going to try and get to a few more games in Bay 16 so I don't wanna sound like one of those blokes who tell the whole active support what to do and stuff when they aren't involved in it at all, so I just wanted to clear that up.

Anyways, what I was thinking was for only big games, for example, in the upcoming F3 Derby the Yellow Army has a pregame march to the stadium, say about an hour or so before kick-off to show how good our active support really is. Just an idea that's actually in our control to make matchdays better for the Mariners.

Thoughts on this?

Hey guys my son knows the drummer max and he is actually trying to arrange a March for the f3 derby. Going from drifters wharf under the bridge to the main gates. I’ll update with more details later. Please spread the word. It would be great to see the older yellow army and the younger guys combined and get a big turnout.

Playing devil’s advocate as someone who’s organised and led a bunch of marches over the years, a march for the derby is a bad idea for many reasons, unless you’re getting 150+ people (which, from what I’ve been told so far, is miles apart from where we’re at). Jets will be doing their own march and will have comfortably over 100. But I’m not one to stop it!

I will say this - going to the main gates from that direction has the potential to end in f**king disaster. If it’s going to go from drifters, just go in the gates near the bridge. I would also hope that it’s been probably cleared with cops etc.

Cheers for the advice Pete I’ll let them know.
I love there enthusiasm and there just trying to get the bay back to where it was back in the day. Un like other attempts from younger ones these boys are willing to learn and work with the older and original boys.

Plenty of English clubs do the do wah diddy diddy chant. Should try and get it done here. Fits well with Cummings.

There he was just a waltzing round the pitch
Singing do wah diddy diddy dum diddy do
Runnin past the bastards scoring 1 or 2
Looks good looks good
Looks fine looks fine
Jason Cummings on my mind, he's the Mariners no.9
Do do do do do do do

Burnley example:

I’ve been speaking with and advising Max on all things Bay 16 and Yellow Army. The march will most likely take place on NYE. This is to avoid any issues with the Jets march and a preferable marching route can be used than the one that was planned.
