ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

We dodged a big bullet there. GB will be a force in the future, considering they were a hastily assembled team.

They taught us a thing or two about possession football. Our passing was shocking for the most part. We have the talent if only we learned how to pass properly.

Is it just me, or is Van Egmond a talented but very lazy player? Half the time she just wanders around like it was a stroll in the park and prefers to pass backwards more times than forwards. I like to see middies who are a bit more dynamic and who can control the middle.

I caught a bit of the US v Netherlands game and the quality was way higher than either team in our game tonight. In our campaign we’ve still had errors, some crap kicks or touches that look amateurish, passing not particularly fluid, all the stuff that drags the perception of women’s football down at a high level. My wife watched some of the game and there were a few moments she remarked that they looked like they came straight from the local WAA league.

In contrast I don’t recall feeling that way about the US or Sweden. The passing is usually better, faster, etc..a much smaller gap to the men’s game.

Karma for not protesting the penalty and just getting on with the job. The focus on the girls faces was instantly we are getting the rebound and were in position to be first there.
Great save and what a perfect deflection for the fowler goal.
