Could just be BS to try and unsettle our young midfield that the club is looking for more experience. Wouldn’t be the first time.
I’m actually surprised more leaks haven’t been weaponised. Think that’s actually a good sign for us keeping the squad together.
Also funny how Macarthur learned how to keep a secret once they were out of the finals hunt.

The pub team thing was a really dirty move. He's another one I think would have improved his career by staying another year but ego got in the way. The second of half of that last season he was such a beast after years of development with us, what a shame it played out like that.

I don’t think we’d go chasing him, now if he reached out and had matured a bit, acknowledged past issues then I think they’d be open minded unless they have a more immediate prospect. But more likely someone else chases him and offers him a good wage without the self reflection.

The big problem we will have if we lose Cummings is that he is not a visa player. Tulio and Moresche are supposedly off contact (I'm hoping they've re-signed but not been announced) and will become free agents, Beni is contacted for another year and McGarry and Kaltak for another two years. Do we need to lose one of the visa players to bring in a visa striker. TBH - apart from contracted (and mostly recently contracted strikers no Australian striker in the 23-30 age range look to be able to match Jason strike rate (ignoring his ability to bring others into play)

I think Moresche signed a 1 yr extension while he had his injury. A bit of a guarantee it’s worth staying for the rehab and was start to come good at the time.
