Ahhhh… he didn’t do his ACL. So I guess he just needed the 1 year huh.
Has been faultless since he came back, and was one of the best on ground tonight.

Also gotta disagree with your 2 year diagnosis sorry. Brad Tapp seems to be doing alright. Pat Beach came back pretty quick. Heck, Moresche scored in a grand final.
Do agree however that it plays in the mind for a while, but these guys aren’t playing all age footy, they’re pro ballers.
who has brad tapp played against for more than 15 minutes in the A league ?
moresche scored the 6th goal and hasn't play again in the bone saw league

time and again you see it dan hall , stormy . it's a mental thing

Anyone fancy eating some humble pie on Hall? Immense tonight. As I said on the pod I’m not gonna say “I told you so”, buuuuuuuuut….. nah fk it, I did tell you so.
I knew he would come good, hence I was devo he was going to Sydney. Last season wasn’t the Dan we all know and love and some environmental factors obviously at play, whatever they were.
Watching that goal yesterday and his reaction.. on top of an all round brilliant game by him.. my heart sang ?
He’s back baby ?

Great win lastnight, first half was beautiful. Looked a tactic at the start of the 2nd to sit back for 10 or so expecting an onslaught that never came, be we were in total control, would’ve liked a few more goals but you could see everyone of the boys wanted that clean sheet.
Yeah western were garbage throughout but our boys were high quality and it was a pretty professional performance. Things seem to finally be starting to click. So happy for Hally, he’s been getting better and better with every start, this will take some perceived pressure off paull and allow the boy to develop. Happy for Brian and Alou too. And what a f**king goal by my boy Marco….. wow.
Torres was better again, he’s getting closer and closer to what I expect he’ll be. Can’t fault any of the boys that played, maybe Theo who looked a little flat but certainly wasn’t bad.

Can I just say, Miguel Di Pizio is the TRUTH. That kid is an absolute gem, his 55minutes was seriously good for a 17yo. Extend him, now.

Niz and Max were near on perfect with the midfield work they got through imo. Niz in particular I can’t find any more words to praise the bloke, he’s the absolute core of our football side. I’m so glad foreign teams don’t see Max and Niz’s value, I want them here till they’re 38 and with arthritic joints.

Good showing last night and I’ve watched a lot of WU’s games this season and to be honest they have in most games been the better team only not scoring. They looked terrible last night but I feel that was also from our game plan and we pressed well and counter attacked with speed. They are not a bad team on paper and JA may have lost the dressing room.

I’m glad to finally see the team come together and there are now signs the new coaching staff are influencing the team. I’m less worried now and think MJ might not be the pretender I for one thought he may have been. Looking forward to the rest of the season now.

Nizz always seems to be overlooked - which is great for us - but there's one foreign team who'll know all about him. I'd be amazed if Monty hasn't had a quiet word with him.

I'd hate him to go this January but I think we'd all be happy for him to get a Euro adventure.

Just.... not yet.

Di Pizio needs more game time. I've seen him in the NPL but this is a step up in intensity. At 25 minutes he was gassed. Came out after the break fresh but quickly hit the wall again. The guy is a talent but we need to gradually increase his game time at this level.

Jacko is definitely already doing this, a few cameos off the bench 15-20minutes may have gotten abit more in one of the AFC games from memory. Then a first start lastnight and it paid off, he was excellent, he definitely gassed as expected but 55mins is ideal. Hopefully 65mins next time.

His comments after the match were very much those of a man who'd lost the dressing room. Reminded me of Arnie's comments after we went out of the Asian Cup in 2007.

The players won't be happy, but I'd be surprised if he's still in charge against his brother next week.

Monty would 100% be looking at some of our boys, depending how much Hibs trust Monty it could be a hard sell to the board saying he wants a 5’4 box to box midfielder. Niz would obviously kill the Scottish prem etc. As I said, I hope those foreign clubs keep overlooking him, but I hope we keep paying him accordingly.

That WU team last night, shouldn't have been that poor.

We were white hot, but they were really poor.

Best thing about last night was the clean sheet, well deserved a full 90 from the defensive unit.
