ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Raiders? Brumbies? Aleague womens team? They all seem to be going just fine, an A-League mens team is essential for the next expansion
Capitals basketball, Braves ice hockey team regular finalists and champions, Canberra Cavalry baseball regular finalists and I think won the equivalent of the Asian Champions League, ACT senior indoor hockey teams regular Australian Champions, ACT senior field hockey teams regular national competition finalists.

I believe current national Sudoku champions too.

Yep, terrible sporting history.

Sudoku is probably not considered a sport Melange. How are they at Tiddlywinks?

Side note......my Nephew from Country Victoria came to visit as part of his road trip to Qld. Hated Canberra which he called a small Country town but loved The Entrance and East Gosford.
I don't actually think there is any real support for the Mariners in Canberra but our new owner and Andy Bernal come from there so they would have strong links to Capitol Football.

Canberra is like the Gold Coast - a place sportng teams go to die.
That’s not true. I grew up in Canberra and the place generally supports its local teams. Raiders and Brumbys are obvious examples. Comparing it to the Gold Coast is simply wrong. Very different population base. Many Canberrans are lifers/public servants (decent incomes) and support their teams, although like most areas, the support varies subject to on-field performance. I think a local A-League team in Canberra would do really well, particularly as it wouldn’t clash with Raiders/Brumbys and outside the odd cricket game, Canberrans are starved of pro sport throughout the summer…

Let's face it. The expansion that would be massive in Canberra is AFL
Not football
